Description

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role • Administer, configure, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure supporting digital collection services. • Manage virtual machines, including Windows-based cloud servers. • Configure and administer cloud storage environments. • Manage object storage and associated cloud infrastructure. • Configure and maintain cloud identity and access management roles, policies, and controls. • Configure and troubleshoot virtual private clouds, security groups, firewall rules, and network connectivity. • Implement and maintain cloud monitoring, logging, and alerting systems. • Support secure connectivity and data flows between cloud and on-premises environments. • Utilize cloud command-line interfaces and automation tools for infrastructure administration. • Troubleshoot infrastructure, storage, network, connectivity, availability, and performance issues. • Support cloud security and compliance requirements. • Monitor infrastructure capacity, performance, availability, and operational health. • Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides. • Coordinate with platform teams, cloud engineering teams, application teams, and other stakeholders. • Support the transition from legacy on-premises infrastructure to sustainable cloud operations. What You'll Need • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. • 12+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in cloud infrastructure or systems engineering. • 3+ years of hands-on cloud administration experience. • Experience working in regulated cloud environments. • Hands-on experience administering virtual machines, including Windows Server environments. • Hands-on experience with cloud storage solutions. • Experience managing object storage. • Experience with cloud identity and access management, including roles, policies, permissions, and access controls. • Experience with cloud networking, security groups, firewall rules, and connectivity. • Experience supporting hybrid or multi-cloud environments. • Experience troubleshooting cloud infrastructure, networking, storage, and performance issues. • Experience developing technical documentation, procedures, and operational runbooks. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust/Suitability clearance.
