Description

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role • Develop and maintain Python and AWS CLI automation for cloud data operations. • Design, execute, and troubleshoot large-scale data migration and transfer workflows. • Support AWS DataSync workflows for high-volume data transfers and manage Amazon S3 storage and lifecycle policies. • Implement and support S3/Glacier archival and retrieval workflows, and support NetApp ONTAP and SnapMirror replication activities. • Automate data movement, synchronization, validation, archival, and retrieval processes, while monitoring and troubleshooting related issues. • Manage and optimize cloud storage, transfer, archival, and retrieval costs, and support secure data flows between cloud and on-premises environments. What You'll Need • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience. • 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, data engineering, or cloud automation. • 3+ years of hands-on AWS experience, including working with AWS GovCloud or similar regulated environments. • Strong Python scripting and AWS CLI experience for automation and cloud operations. • Hands-on experience with Amazon S3, S3/Glacier lifecycle policies, AWS DataSync, and NetApp ONTAP/SnapMirror. • Experience with large-scale data migrations, managing terabyte- to petabyte-scale datasets, and automating data processes.
