About The Role We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to lead and refine our DevOps strategies and infrastructure. The successful candidate will possess extensive expertise in AWS DevOps, with a proven ability to design and implement sophisticated CI/CD pipelines and automate development and testing workflows. This role is highly technical and hands-on, requiring an individual who can work autonomously in a fast-paced environment, quickly identifying and resolving issues to maintain system stability and performance. The Senior DevOps Engineer will collaborate closely with development teams and senior leadership to align infrastructure and deployment strategies with business goals. They will oversee AWS resource management, ensure high availability and scalability of systems, and implement best practices for infrastructure as code, containerization, and microservices architecture. This is a full-time remote position offering a competitive salary range of $170,000 to $180,000 annually, with standard operating hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in DevOps roles, with a significant focus on AWS environments. They should demonstrate proficiency in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and scripting languages such as Python or Bash. Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation is essential. A deep understanding of infrastructure as code principles, containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and microservices architecture is required. Strong Linux/Unix administration skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills are vital. AWS certifications are highly advantageous, reflecting a commitment to professional development and expertise in cloud technologies. A college degree is not mandatory if the candidate's experience and skills meet the role's requirements.
