About The Role
Foresite is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Cloud Security Engineer to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will serve as the technical lead for onboarding new customers to Google Cloud Security Command Center (SCC) and Wiz.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure seamless integration of cloud security findings into Google SecOps, enabling clients to have a unified, actionable security posture.
This position requires a deep understanding of cloud security tools, automation, and client engagement, as you will be instrumental in configuring, customizing, and optimizing security solutions tailored to each client's needs.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage complex onboarding projects independently.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on experience with Google SecOps (Chronicle), including parser creation, UDM mapping, and writing YARA-L rules.
Proven experience configuring GCP Security Command Center and Wiz is essential, with foundational knowledge aligned with a Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer certification or equivalent.
Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting is required, along with the ability to develop custom detection and remediation logic.
Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills, capable of translating technical configurations into strategic insights for client security teams.
A background in cloud security, automation, and client management will be advantageous, along with relevant certifications such as Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer or security-specific credentials.
