Description

We are seeking a volunteer Framer Web Designer to help keep our Foundation’s website up to date. This role involves improving the site’s design, functionality, and content organization to reflect our mission of capturing and highlighting non-profit stories and engaging our visitors. The ideal candidate will bring creative ideas and technical expertise to enhance our online presence and make our digital storytelling more impactful. Key Responsibilities Work directly with our Foundation groups, including Graphics and Marketing, to identify areas of improvement in layout, navigation, and content flow.Redesign or update pages in Framer to enhance user experience and align with our brand identity.Optimize the site for accessibility, mobile responsiveness, and performance.Update visuals, banners, and images, to ensure a consistent, modern design.Collaborate with Foundation leadership to ensure content reflects our programs and community initiatives.Implement basic SEO best practices and integrate analytics tracking.Ensure all updates maintain site security and functionality on Squarespace (or other platforms). Qualifications Proven experience designing or updating websites (portfolio or examples required).Proficiency in Framer platform.Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive web design principles.Strong visual design skills — typography, color, layout, and imagery.Ability to translate feedback into design improvements.Familiarity with nonprofit or community-focused organizations is a plus.Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
