About The Role
We are currently seeking an accomplished DevOps Engineer II to join our dynamic team based in Irvine, CA.
This role supports multiple software products and brands across the organization, including Debt Solutions, CoStar Suites, LoopNet, Apartments.com, Homes.com, and Ten-X.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for automation, infrastructure-as-code, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).
This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with four days onsite and one day remote, providing flexibility and work-life balance.
The DevOps Engineer II will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure, ensuring operational excellence across our platforms.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited, in-person, not-for-profit university or collegeMinimum of 3+ years' experience in a DevOps environment with a developer focusExperience with infrastructure as code using CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar platformsProficiency with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platformsUnderstanding of Kubernetes environments and related toolingKnowledge of large network components in cloud and on-premises environments, including systems & network administration, DNS, hypervisors, containers, databases, and multi-datacenter architecturesStrong scripting skills with PowerShell or BashExperience with CI/CD pipelines and automation toolsFamiliarity with enterprise monitoring tools, APM, synthetics, and RUM (Nice to Have)Foundational understanding of AI/ML concepts and their application in workflows and observability (Nice to Have)Programming experience with Java, C#, Python, NodeJS (Nice to Have)Experience with SQL and NoSQL databasesKnowledge of CDN configuration and global traffic management (Nice to Have)Understanding of serverless architecture methodologiesExperience with REST API or Microservices developmentFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and sprint cycles
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure supporting multiple software products and brandsAutomate deployment processes using infrastructure-as-code tools to ensure consistency and reliabilityDevelop and manage CI/CD pipelines to facilitate rapid and reliable software releasesMonitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure for high availability and securityCollaborate with development, operations, and product teams to implement best practices in DevOps and cloud architectureImplement security measures and compliance protocols across cloud environmentsSupport container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, ensuring efficient resource utilizationMaintain and improve enterprise monitoring and alerting systems to ensure operational healthParticipate in planning and executing infrastructure projects, including sizing and estimation of tasksProvide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvementAssist with hiring, onboarding, training, and performance reviews of team members
