The Roles We are offering two internship positions for engineering students or recent graduates: Position 1: Electrical / Development Engineer Intern Focus: Firmware and hardware development, prototyping, simulation, measurement series, and technology transfer to series production. Position 2: Software Developer Intern Focus: Development of product software, automated tests, and internal development tools in an interdisciplinary environment. You will work closely with our development teams, gaining hands-on experience in a regulated medical device environment (ISO 13485, 21 CFR 820, EU 2017/746). You will contribute to real engineering projects that are part of our product lifecycle and future innovation roadmap. For the Electrical / Development Engineer Intern, we expect · Enrolled in or recently completed studies in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, or a comparable discipline. · Initial experience in firmware and/or hardware development. · Knowledge of actuators and sensors. · Familiarity with development environments such as MS Visual Studio and/or STM development environment for ARM processors. · Programming knowledge in C and/or C#. · Interest in simulations, prototyping, measurement series, and commissioning. · Excellent English skills; German is a strong plus. · A high degree of teamwork, reliability, and quality awareness. · Interest in biological or clinical topics is an advantage. · Experience in a regulated environment (e.g., medical technology, automotive) is a plus. For the Software Developer Intern, we expect · Enrolled in or recently completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, medical technology, or a comparable discipline. · Experience developing C#-based applications for Windows. · Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio. · Interest in automated testing and software quality. · Structured, independent, and reliable work ethic. · Good English skills (spoken and written). · Willingness to engage in interdisciplinary collaboration. · Experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus: o C#/.NET programming o User interface development (WPF/WinForms) o Azure DevOps Server o Unit testing / automated software tests o MS SQL database programming o Agile methodologies (Scrum) · Experience in a regulated environment (IEC 62304 / ISO 13485) is an advantage. · Interest in medical technology is a plus.
