About the Role
Triumph Labs is looking for a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to help bring one of our fastest-growing mobile experiences to the web.
As part of the web team, youβll own the end-to-end web stack and play a key role in building our web infrastructure, internal tools, and dashboards.
Youβll help deliver a web version of Rips, our collectibles trading card app, while laying the foundation for future web and Android experiences.
This is a high-impact opportunity for an engineer who enjoys 0β1 product development, strong product ownership, and building polished consumer-facing experiences.
What You'll Do
- Establish our web platform and set standards for future web and Android applications.
- Build and launch the web version of Rips using our existing backend systems and infrastructure.
- Define best practices and engineering standards for React and TypeScript.
- Own and improve internal tools and dashboards that help teams work efficiently and make data-driven decisions.
- Partner with backend engineers on API design, data models, and application performance.
- Create polished, responsive experiences with thoughtful motion and micro-interactions.
- Translate designs into high-quality, pixel-perfect user interfaces.
- Work independently in a fast-moving environment and take ownership from idea to launch.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in fullstack web engineering.
- Strong expertise in React and TypeScript, including modern patterns, hooks, and performance optimization.
- Experience building consumer-facing web applications.
- Experience owning frontend architecture, platforms, or engineering standards.
- Proven experience shipping a 0β1 consumer web product, ideally within a startup environment.
- Strong product sense and ability to build polished, intuitive user experiences.
- Experience implementing high-quality interfaces from Figma designs.
- Comfortable working with motion, animations, responsive design, and micro-interactions.
- Ability to prioritize independently and ship quickly in ambiguous, high-agency environments.
- Willingness to work on-site in San Francisco 5 days per week.
