Website & Ecommerce Coordinator (Part-Time)
Location: Abbotsford, Melbourne
Hours: Approximately 3-4 days per week
Experience required: 3+ years' advanced Shopify experience
Alessandra Cashmere is seeking a Shopify & Ecommerce Coordinator to own the management, maintenance, and optimisation of our ecommerce website.
This role suits someone with advanced, hands-on Shopify experience who enjoys problem-solving, improving processes, maintaining high website standards, and delivering a seamless customer experience.
The role is varied, with day-to-day tasks adapting to business priorities, product launches and website updates
Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and re-merchandise the Shopify website, including product information, imagery, banners, and overall site presentation.
Monitor navigation, links, filters, and customer journey functionality, ensuring visual consistency and brand presentation across the site.
Update customer-facing information including FAQs, shipping information, contact pages, and returns policies.
Manage Shopify apps, integrations, and Flows to support customer experience, fulfilment, and dispatch.
Oversee review, preorder, and returns platforms to ensure a smooth end-to-end customer experience.
Troubleshoot Shopify issues, app conflicts, and website functionality problems.
Identify and implement website improvements, tools, and automations to support ongoing optimisation and business growth.
Upload and maintain products, collections, and related content within Shopify, including descriptions, imagery, swatches, and size charts.
Skills & ExperienceEssential
• 3+ years' advanced Shopify experience
• Strong understanding of Shopify admin, collections, products, metafields, tags, filters, and navigation
• Experience managing Shopify apps and integrations
• Experience troubleshooting ecommerce and website issues
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
Desirable
• Experience with Shopify Flow and automation tools
• Experience with AI tools for ecommerce content creation
• Photoshop or similar image editing experience
• Understanding of ecommerce merchandising and conversion optimisation
• Experience working with fashion or luxury retail brands
