A large defence technology business is looking for a software engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will focus on developing and expanding full-stack applications for monitoring and managing complex simulation systems. This role involves end-to-end responsibility for new features, from initial conceptualisation and implementation to final testing and deployment. What you'll be doing • Developing and optimising full-stack applications for system integrity and performance monitoring. • Designing, implementing, and documenting new features for simulation environments. • Managing software integration and deployment processes both on-site and at client locations. • Conducting systematic error analysis and developing sustainable solutions for system disturbances. • Maintaining and ensuring the quality of existing software solutions through continuous testing. What we're looking for • A degree in Computer Science or a comparable technical qualification. • Proficiency in C++ software development within a Windows environment. • Practical experience with Ansible, Grafana, Prometheus, and Python. • Familiarity with modern deployment techniques and the commissioning of technical systems. • Fluency in German and English, alongside a willingness to travel for integration projects.
