About The Role We are seeking a skilled Mobile Developer specializing in React Native and Expo to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the development of our new digital platform, contributing to the design and implementation of mobile applications for Android and iOS from scratch. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, UX designers, backend developers, DevOps, and QA specialists, to deliver high-performance, scalable, and maintainable mobile solutions. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire engineering lifecycle—from conceptualization and development to testing, deployment, and operational support. You will play a key role in advancing our mobile architecture, ensuring optimal performance, stability, and user experience. Additionally, you will bring innovative ideas to improve development processes, user engagement, and technical infrastructure, utilizing modern AI tools to enhance code quality, testing efficiency, and documentation. This position offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technologies within a flexible, collaborative environment, with options for partial mobile working across Germany. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess several years of professional experience in mobile application development using React Native and Expo, preferably within digital platform environments or growth-oriented tech companies. A solid understanding of modern software architecture principles, clean code practices, API design, performance optimization, and testing methodologies is essential. Experience working within agile teams and cross-functional product environments is highly valued. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes, along with cloud platforms such as Azure, will be advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate a strong sense of ownership, proactive problem-solving skills, and a passion for building innovative digital products. Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken, is required to facilitate seamless communication within international teams. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms using React Native and Expo from the ground up.Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, backend developers, DevOps, and QA teams to create engaging and reliable digital experiences.Take responsibility for the entire software development lifecycle, including technical conception, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing operation.Implement modern development standards, automate testing processes, and conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality software delivery.Contribute to the evolution of our mobile application architecture, supporting scalability, performance, and maintainability.Analyze app performance and stability, identifying areas for optimization and implementing improvements.Propose and implement innovative ideas to enhance user engagement, streamline development workflows, and improve technical infrastructure.Leverage AI-powered tools for code quality enhancement, automated testing, documentation, and developer productivity.Assume ownership of your solutions, providing technical guidance and support to team members when challenges arise.Utilize the following tech stack: React Native, Expo, REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure Cloud services.
