Description

CGI is seeking an experienced .NET/Azure Full Stack Developer to support a strategic financial services client in the mortgage lending industry. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise applications and integrations associated with the Empower Loan Origination System (LOS) and Hyland OnBase document management platform. The ideal candidate combines strong full stack development expertise with hands-on experience building cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will develop and maintain modern web applications, APIs, microservices, and integrations that enable critical mortgage origination and document management processes. This position requires a strong understanding of cloud architecture, secure application design, system integration, and enterprise-scale application support. In this role, you will collaborate closely with architects, business analysts, product owners, vendor partners, and cross-functional Agile teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing technology solutions. You will also play a key role in application modernization initiatives, production support, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and continuous improvement efforts across a complex and highly regulated environment. The position is located in Fairfax, Virginia in a hybrid environment. Your future duties and responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and Entity Framework. Develop modern front-end solutions leveraging Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Build and support cloud-native applications and services utilizing Microsoft Azure technologies, including App Services, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Storage Accounts, and Azure SQL. Design and develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and system integrations supporting mortgage origination and document management workflows. Create and maintain integrations between the Empower Loan Origination System, Hyland OnBase, and other enterprise applications. Implement secure application architectures utilizing Azure API Management, Key Vault, Managed Identities, and Microsoft Entra ID authentication. Design, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL Server databases, stored procedures, queries, and related data components. Support application monitoring, logging, and performance management using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and related observability tools. Diagnose and resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term corrective actions. Participate in application releases, deployment planning, change management activities, and post-deployment validation. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Git, and automated deployment frameworks. Ensure applications adhere to established security, compliance, and secure development best practices. Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Participate in Agile delivery activities, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, demonstrations, and retrospectives. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on application reliability, performance, scalability, and operational efficiency. Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role 7–8 years of full stack application development experience Strong hands on experience with C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API and Entity Framework Strong experience designing and developing applications using Microsoft Azure Hands on experience with Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure Storage and Azure SQL Experience developing RESTful APIs, microservices and application integrations Experience with Azure API Management, Key Vault, Managed Identities and Microsoft Entra ID authentication Experience with Azure Application Insights, Azure Monitor, logging and application performance troubleshooting Experience using Azure SDKs, Visual Studio and related Azure development tools Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments Front end development experience using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS Strong SQL Server skills, including stored procedures, queries and database troubleshooting Experience supporting enterprise applications in production, including incident resolution, defect remediation, root cause analysis and release support Understanding of cloud security, authentication, authorization and secure development practices Strong communication skills and experience working with cross functional Agile teams Preferred Qualifications: Experience with the Empower loan origination platform or another mortgage loan origination system Experience with Hyland OnBase, including document management, workflow, imaging or application integrations Experience with mortgage origination processes and financial services applications Experience developing event driven and asynchronous applications in Azure Experience supporting L2/L3 application operations Other Information: CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
