Your Role As a Software (Emulation) Engineer, you will be involved in the full software development lifecycle. Working closely with colleagues from various disciplines, you will Design, develop, test and maintain emulation software and simulation modelsTranslate business requirements and abstract concepts into functional software solutionsCreate digital representations of automated logistic systems and processesDevelop software that models transportation, sortation and storage equipmentIntegrate communication with external systems, reporting tools and data analysis capabilitiesContinuously improve software quality, performance and maintainabilityCollaborate with international teams and stakeholders across Vanderlande One of the key challenges in this role is finding the right balance between realism and simplicity.
