What is the Opportunity?
This position is responsible for developing logic-intensive components of the digital wealth management platform.
Works on computational libraries, as well as API services that interact with those libraries and other parts of the platform.
The core focus for the position will be on implementing software used in portfolio optimization, Monte Carlo simulations, trading algorithms, financial health scores, and probability assessment models used in developing a wealth management platform.

Develop software for quantitative and portfolio management using PythonDesign/test/maintain/improve the core trading and research applications being developedDevelop code to extract data from various sources to support development of the modelsCollaborate with team on best practicesConduct research on portfolio optimization, perform back test and implement trading models
What do you need to succeed?
Must have:
5+ years of software development in a quantitative finance area3+ years of professional experience building large scale applications/APIs in PythonBachelor's degree in Economics/Finance/Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics or other relevant discipline or equivalent experience.Strong knowledge of quantitative concepts, including applied statisticsExperience using analytics libraries and frameworks such TensorFlow, scikit, NumPyStrong problem-solving skillsKnowledge of (or interest in) personal finance/economicsExperience with algorithm design or developmentExperience working with RESTful APIsExperience with Python API frameworks like Django, Flask
Nice to have
Master’s degree or Ph.D.
Preferred.Experience with Cloud (AWS or Azure) and containerization is a big plusExperience in financial services preferredExperience developing financial models in behavioral finance or wealth managementFamiliarity with and ability to apply the following concepts to solve data problems; natural language processing, machine learning, conceptual modelling, statistical analysis, predictive modelling and hypothesis testing
