Senior Software Engineer

We’re working with a leading organisation operating in a critical area of the UK’s energy and infrastructure landscape, and they’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their growing engineering team. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you’ll help shape scalable, reliable digital platforms while remaining closely involved in development. You’ll work alongside Principal Engineers and Architects, influence technical decisions and mentor other engineers, without the responsibilities of direct line management. To be considered, we need Strong Python development experience, ideally with Django, Strong JavaScript / TypeScript experience and experience working with AWS, Azure or GCP This is an opportunity to join a technically ambitious engineering environment where you’ll have genuine influence over architecture, engineering standards and the direction of the platform. You’ll be working on systems that have a real-world impact, while getting the opportunity to remain hands-on technically and work alongside experienced Principal Engineers and Architects.
