About The Role We are seeking an exceptional Software Engineer to join the Risk Technology team at this elite hedge fund. This is a highly specialized position that deviates from traditional software engineering roles, offering the opportunity to work at the core of the firm’s investment and risk architecture. The successful candidate will be instrumental in building and evolving sophisticated platforms and tools used by risk analysts and portfolio managers to monitor exposures, understand portfolios, and make swift, informed decisions. The role involves working on complex engineering challenges related to real-time data processing, distributed systems, data pipelines, and cloud-native infrastructure. It offers a unique chance to have a tangible impact on the firm’s ability to manage risk and optimize investment strategies, working closely with risk and treasury teams, often in a forward-deployed capacity.
