We Are Seeking a Software Web Developer To Design, Develop, And Maintain Our Software Products Through The Development Of Web Applications And Websites That Support REDCOMs New Vertical Product Capability.We Are Looking For Someone Who Thrives While Working In a Supportive Environment Where You Can Both Have Fun, And Where Your Development Efforts Will Make a Tangible Difference.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Design, develop, manage, maintain and support REDCOM software productsWorks individually or within a team to implement specific features and resolve customer issuesAcquire an expert level understanding of technologies and protocols relevant to REDCOM productsKNOWLEDGE & SKILLS THAT ARE REQUIRED TO FULFILL THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Development of websites and web applications as well as maintaining existing code.Front-end and back-end development, including seamless integration of front- to back-end functionality.Model-View Controller (MVC) and modern web frameworks.PHP expertiseEffective use of HTML5, JavaScript, CSS.SQL (PostgreSQL preferred)Development of APIs (REST/JSON)Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the software development fieldBS or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalentPRACTICAL EXPERIENCES THAT ARE PREFERRED TO FULFILL THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Telecommunications and Chat protocols; including SIP, XMPPIP Networking technologies and protocolsBootstrapCodeIgniterVue.jsTesting tools, including Selenium and PHPUnitFreeBSD, Linux or other current Unix environmentsGITApacheSecurity and encryptionCMFF / Modular Systems: Familiarity with or ability to quickly ramp up on CMOSS Mounted Form Factor (CMFF), open architecture standards, and C5ISR/EW capabilities is highly desired.OTHER DUTIES:Complete special projects and perform other duties as necessary.SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS:No special working conditions work in office environmentTravel on an exception basis onlyMay require extended work hours to meet project or customer requirements.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to work at a computer/computer workstation for extended periods of time.
