For one of our highly regulated, technology-driven clients in the tax and compliance domain, we’re looking for a Software Developer (hands-on) to strengthen the our engineering team. You’ll work within a DevOps team on a complex, business-critical platform that sits at the intersection of application development and Kubernetes-based infrastructure. This is a hands-on engineering role not a lead or management position. What you’ll do Design, build, and maintain backend services with a strong focus on Go (Golang) Work on a complex, existing application within an enterprise technology stack Build and maintain integrations and connectivity with other internal applications Develop, deploy, and operate applications running on Kubernetes Create, maintain, and optimize Helm charts Take ownership of the full application stack (build, run, and maintain) Actively contribute to improving code quality, stability, and performance Collaborate closely within an agile DevOps team Act as an example in engineering approach, documentation, and professionalism What we’re looking for Strong, hands-on experience as a backend software developer Solid experience with Go (Golang) Experience working with application integrations in an enterprise environment Hands-on experience with Kubernetes-based applications Experience working at the intersection of application development and infrastructure Comfortable managing and operating production systems Strong analytical skills and problem-solving mindset Tooling & engineering practices Git, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, SonarQube IDEs such as VS Code or JetBrains Able to manage and optimize the full development toolchain Comfortable owning applications end-to-end in production Ways of working Truly hands-on developer (no lead/manager profile) Comfortable joining and contributing to an existing, complex codebase Acts with integrity, internally and externally Takes ownership and responsibility for outcomes Team player who values multiple perspectives Empathetic towards colleagues and stakeholders Curious, innovative, and not afraid of new technologies Feels at home in an agile, DevOps environment and leads by example Nice to have Experience with Python Familiarity with Apache Airflow Knowledge of XBRL Experience optimizing performance of existing web applications Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments What we offer High-impact role on business-critical tax & compliance platforms Hybrid working setup with strong on-site collaboration Competitive salary!
