Role Description The Software Engineering Fellowship — LUNARTECH — Armenia is a part-time, remote opportunity designed to provide hands-on experience with production-grade AI and software systems.
Fellows will collaborate with engineering teams to design, develop, test, and maintain software components across LUNARTECH’s products and platforms.
Day-to-day tasks include implementing features, debugging and optimizing code, working with databases and Linux environments, and contributing to API and backend services.
Fellows will participate in code reviews, follow best practices for version control and documentation, and learn to ship reliable, maintainable software in a real-world environment.
The fellowship also includes mentorship, performance feedback, and exposure to modern AI and data infrastructure workflows.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Software Development skills, including knowledge of software architecture, testing, and version control.Candidates should possess Programming skills, with proficiency in Java and familiarity with object-oriented design principles.Candidates should possess Databases skills, including experience with SQL or NoSQL systems and data modeling concepts.Candidates should possess Linux skills, including command-line proficiency, scripting, and basic system administration.Relevant additional qualifications include familiarity with AI or data-driven applications, experience with APIs and microservices, and basic understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure).A background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (formal degree or equivalent practical experience) is beneficial.Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently in a remote, international team environment are highly valued.
