About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team in Princeton, NJ, with a hybrid work model that includes onsite presence three days a week.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end web applications and data-driven solutions that support clinical trial operations.
This role combines technical leadership with hands-on development responsibilities, requiring a proactive approach to guiding the development team, ensuring best practices, and delivering robust, scalable, and secure software solutions.
The Lead Full Stack Developer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product owners, analysts, project managers, and DevOps to translate complex business requirements into effective technical architectures.

Qualifications
Minimum 8 years of experience as a full stack developerAt least 3 years of experience leading a development team focused on building on-premise and cloud applicationsProficiency in core stack technologies including C#/ASP.NET, .NET, Angular, SQL, NoSQL, and AWSRecent hands-on experience with Angular developmentStrong background in redeveloping on-premises web applications optimized for AWS CloudExperience leading end-to-end cloud software development projects, including architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and supportHands-on experience building AWS-based web applications and integrationsKnowledge of AWS services such as CloudWatch, SES, S3, ECR, ECS, Lambda functionsUI/UX experience using Blazor or Angular frameworksExperience working with relational and non-relational databasesProficiency with version control systems, particularly GitHub and GitHub ActionsExperience with Docker containerization technologyStrong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation toolsPreferred: Experience configuring AWS environments using Terraform, Fargate, and related toolsPreferred: Experience in a CRO or pharmaceutical environment with knowledge of regulated clinical data applicationsUnderstanding of GxP and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance standardsExperience migrating entire on-premise data centers to AWS Cloud is a plus
Responsibilities
Lead the application development team, overseeing technical delivery across multiple projects while actively participating as a senior developerDesign and implement scalable, secure frontend and backend components, including APIs, services, and user interface workflows, adhering to clean architecture and best practicesIntegrate application security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle, including vulnerability management and code scanningCollaborate with product owners, analysts, project managers, platform engineering, and analytics teams to translate complex business needs into practical technical solutionsOwn end-to-end technical solutions, from architecture and implementation to testing, deployment, and ongoing supportEstablish and enforce coding standards, automated testing protocols, and CI/CD pipelines to enhance software quality and deployment efficiencyMentor and guide developers, ensuring adherence to engineering best practices, code quality, and architectural integrityCoordinate with Solutions Architects, DevOps, and Data teams to develop scalable technical designs aligned with business objectivesEnsure compliance with SDLC, validation, GxP, and 21 CFR Part 11 regulatory requirementsDesign secure integrations with external clinical and operational systemsTroubleshoot complex system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes to reduce technical debtDrive continuous improvements in cloud performance, cost management, security posture, and automation processesStay current with AWS cloud development tools and environment best practicesEstimate effort accurately, manage time effectively, and meet project deadlinesAdapt to evolving project requirements, priorities, and schedulesPromote a culture of documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning within the development team
