Mobile Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role • Collaborate with AI agents and tools to build, test, and deploy software across the SDLC. • Contribute to prompt engineering experimentation and share tool usage insights with the team. • Engage in design and development discussions, helping the team conceptualize desired outcomes. • Develop and implement unit and system tests for integral code paths, ensuring adherence to secure coding practices. • Use observability tools to monitor system health, diagnose issues, and validate changes in production. • Take ownership of assigned work and drive it to completion with minimal oversight. What You'll Need • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 2 years' experience in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Consistent and effective use of AI coding assistants across the SDLC, critically evaluating outputs. • Working knowledge of systems native mobile applications integrate with, including REST APIs and backend services. • Demonstrated experience building native mobile applications using Android (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose) and/or iOS (Swift, SwiftUI) technologies. • Comfortable with Git workflows, branching strategies, and collaborative development practices. • Working knowledge of logging, metrics, and monitoring tools to understand system behavior.
