Description
We are looking for a Software Developer to build, enhance, and support business-critical applications in San Antonio, Texas.
This role is suited for a hands-on engineer who enjoys working across the full software lifecycle, from solution design and integration through testing and production support.
You will collaborate with technical and non-technical partners to deliver reliable systems, solve complex problems, and improve application performance in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions using enterprise technologies such as .NET, C#, ASP.NET, and related web frameworks.
• Create and support system integrations by building and consuming REST and SOAP APIs, ensuring secure and dependable data exchange across platforms.
• Work with relational databases to develop queries, troubleshoot issues, and optimize application data performance.
• Participate in code management, debugging, testing, and deployment activities to maintain high-quality releases and dependable production operations.
• Partner with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate operational needs into practical technical solutions.
• Investigate incidents, resolve application defects, and provide ongoing support for essential systems with a focus on stability and service continuity.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to strengthen delivery processes, automation, and application architecture.
• Learn new tools and platforms quickly and apply sound engineering judgment to deliver effective solutions across a broad technology landscape.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience developing, integrating, or supporting software applications in a business environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with one primary enterprise development stack, including .NET, C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, .NET Framework, or .NET 7.
• Working knowledge of additional programming or scripting technologies such as JavaScript, along with the ability to adapt to new tools as needed.
• Experience working with REST and SOAP services, API integrations, relational databases, source control, testing practices, and production support.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and modern software delivery practices.
• Ability to explain technical topics clearly, collaborate with non-technical stakeholders, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Exposure to platforms such as Salesforce APIs, integration tools, content management systems, cloud services, or container-based environments is a plus.
