We are partnering with a purpose-driven organisation (world-class research across healthcare, agriculture, environmental science and industry) seeking a Senior Systems Developer to help design and build a brand-new Information Management System. This is a genuine greenfield opportunity where you'll have a high level of ownership and influence over the solution. Working closely with an experienced and highly supportive Systems Development Manager, you will play a key role in shaping a new platform from the ground up, contributing across requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing and deployment What You'll Bring Strong Python and Django development experienceExperience building enterprise applicationsLinux/Unix administration and scripting skillsSolid SQL and database experienceGit/GitHub experienceExperience with AI tools such as Copilot or ClaudeStrong stakeholder engagement and communication skillsExposure to CI/CD and modern development practices Nice to have React.js, JavaScript, HTML and CSSCloud and containerisation experienceDevOps exposureR or Perl experience The hiring manager is flexible on specific technology backgrounds and believes strong fundamentals are more important than ticking every box.
