Job Title: Kubernetes Engineer Location: Toronto, ON Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days a week in office) Employment Type: Contract Duration: 06-12 Months Pay Rate: CAD 55-57/hour Incorporated Domain: BFSI Application Deadline: Sept. 30th, 2026 SKILLS REQUIRED: More than 5 years of Kubernetes experience with at least 2 years on AKS in production. Strong knowledge of Kubernetes internals scheduling| networking| storage| RBAC. Experience with Helm| Kustomize| and GitOps workflows (FluxArgoCD). Proficiency in Azure CNI networking and AKS private cluster configuration. Hands-on experience with ACR| managed identities| and Key Vault integration. CI/CD pipeline experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.Scripting skills in Bash| Python| or PowerShellMicrosoft Certified Azure Administrator (AZ-104) or DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) preferred. Nice to have Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or CKAD certification.Experience with service mesh (Istio| Linkerd) on AKS.Exposure to multi-cluster and multi-region AKS architectures.
