Role Description The Frontend Web Developer will design, build, and maintain user-facing components of HexBau, ensuring a clean, intuitive, and responsive interface for industrial site users. This full-time, hybrid role is based in Hesse, Germany, with the flexibility to work partly from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new UI features, optimizing existing pages for performance and accessibility, and collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver cohesive solutions. The role also involves troubleshooting frontend issues, refining workflows based on user feedback, and contributing to code reviews and documentation to maintain high-quality standards. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Front-End Development skills, including modern JavaScript frameworks and Responsive Web Design.Candidates should possess solid Web Development skills, integrating frontend components with APIs and collaborating effectively with Back-End Web Development teams.Candidates should possess Software Development skills, such as version control (e.g., Git), testing, debugging, and adherence to clean coding practices.Relevant experience with UX principles, accessibility standards, and performance optimization in production web applications is beneficial.A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and clear communication skills in English; German language skills are an advantage.
