The Automation and Tooling Developer is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of cutting-edge automation solutions that enhance business efficiency. This position collaborates with key stakeholders to understand business needs and create innovative tools and automation scripts to streamline operations. This role is instrumental in advancing OVHcloud DevOps practices, fostering technical excellence, and ensuring robust documentation across all automation processes. Base pay range: $120,000 - $145,000 (based on relevant experience). Essential Duties & Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain robust automation tools and scripts using programming languages such as Python, Go, PowerShell, or similarWork closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored automation solutions aligned with business goalsIntegrate automation tools with existing systems, including APIs, databases, and enterprise software, ensuring seamless interoperabilityEnsure the accuracy, performance, and reliability of automation tools through rigorous testing and debugging processesCreate and maintain comprehensive documentation for tools, scripts, workflows, and processes, ensuring clarity, usability, and accessibility for all stakeholdersDiagnose and resolve issues with automation systems promptly and efficientlyStay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate best practices and innovative solutions into the automation strategyAdvance the adoption of DevOps principles by implementing CI/CD pipelines and automating infrastructure provisioning using tools like Jenkins, Ansible, or TerraformProvide technical guidance and professional development opportunities to cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvementApply AI-assisted tooling to daily work and help the team define where it helps and where it doesn't.
