DevOps Engineer

Role DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and solutions-focused DevOps Engineer to support the development, deployment, automation, and reliability of software applications and infrastructure. The role will work across development and operations teams to streamline delivery processes, improve system performance, strengthen security, and ensure reliable and scalable technology environments. The DevOps Engineer will design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure and deployment processes, and support cloud-based and on-premises environments. The role will monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, optimize infrastructure resources, and contribute to the continuous improvement of development and operational workflows. Key responsibilities include managing build and release pipelines, implementing infrastructure as code, maintaining cloud and containerized environments, monitoring system availability and performance, supporting incident resolution, and improving deployment reliability. The role will also promote automation, security, scalability, and operational best practices across the software lifecycle. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with software developers, QA engineers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to improve development efficiency, reduce deployment risks, and maintain highly available and resilient systems. QualificationsBachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.Strong understanding of DevOps principles, software development lifecycles, automation, and continuous integration and delivery.Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies is preferred.Strong scripting or programming skills using languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar.Understanding of Linux systems, networking, monitoring, logging, and system security.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Good communication and collaboration skills with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
