About Bridge IR Bridge IR Co. is building the next generation of investor-relations infrastructure. We believe investor relationships are one of a company’s most valuable assets — yet most founders still manage those relationships through fragmented CRMs, spreadsheets, email threads, meeting notes, and individual memory. Bridge IR is building a relationship-intelligence platform designed to help founders understand, manage, and strengthen their investor networks. Our platform combines investor relationship management with AI-powered intelligence and scoring to surface engagement signals, identify relationship trends, and help founders understand where their attention may matter most. We have built our initial MVP and are preparing to onboard a small group of founders into a private beta. We are now looking for an engineering intern to work directly with our Founder & CEO to help take the MVP toward V1. The Opportunity This is not a traditional internship where you’ll be assigned small, isolated tickets. You’ll be joining Bridge IR at an unusually early stage and will have the opportunity to help build the product that our first customers will actually use. As our Founding Engineering Intern, you’ll work closely with the Founder & CEO across product development, engineering, AI, and technical problem-solving. You’ll help translate customer feedback from our private beta into product improvements and contribute to the architecture and implementation of V1. You’ll have meaningful ownership over technical projects and the opportunity to see the full startup product cycle: Build → Launch → Learn → Iterate → Scale. What You’ll Work On Depending on your experience and interests, you’ll contribute to: Product & Application Development Help transition the existing MVP into a more scalable V1 product.Build and improve founder-facing workflows and user experiences.Develop account creation, authentication, onboarding, and workspace functionality.Build investor relationship-management features and supporting infrastructure.Improve product reliability, performance, and usability. AI & Relationship Intelligence Support development of Bridge IR’s AI-powered relationship-intelligence capabilities.Work on systems that analyze investor engagement and relationship signals.Help develop and refine AI-powered scoring and insights.Explore ways to make AI-generated recommendations more transparent and actionable.Help evaluate model outputs and improve the quality of product intelligence. Beta & Product Iteration Work directly with feedback from Bridge IR’s private-beta founders.Identify recurring product issues and opportunities.Translate user feedback into technical requirements.Build, test, and iterate quickly based on real-world usage. Data & Infrastructure Contribute to database architecture and APIs.Build supporting data infrastructure and integrations.Help establish basic product analytics and usage tracking.Support development of internal/admin tools for managing beta users and product feedback. What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who is curious, technically capable, entrepreneurial, and excited about building from an early stage. You don’t need to know everything. We care more about your ability to learn quickly, solve problems independently, and take ownership. Ideal candidates will have experience with some combination of: JavaScript / TypeScriptReact / Next.jsPythonREST APIsSQL / relational databasesSupabase, Firebase, or similar backend platformsAI/LLM APIs and integrationsGit/GitHubAuthentication and user-management systems Experience building and actually shipping projects is highly valued. You should be comfortable looking at an unfamiliar problem and figuring out how to solve it rather than waiting for someone to give you every step. You’d Be a Great Fit If You… Are currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Data Science, or a related field.Have built projects outside of coursework.Enjoy building products from scratch. Are interested in AI and emerging technology.Want hands-on startup experience rather than a highly structured corporate internship. Can work independently while communicating clearly with a founder. Are comfortable receiving feedback and iterating quickly.Think about why you’re building something, not just how to code it.Are excited by the opportunity to have your work directly influence an early-stage company’s product. You do not need previous startup experience. What matters most is demonstrated technical ability, initiative, and a willingness to build. What You’ll Get Direct experience building an early-stage technology company.Hands-on ownership of production product development.Direct collaboration with the Founder & CEO.Exposure to AI product development and relationship intelligence.Experience taking an MVP toward V1.The opportunity to work with real early users and incorporate customer feedback into product decisions.A chance to meaningfully shape Bridge IR’s technical foundation.Potential opportunity to extend the internship into Spring 2027 based on performance, company needs, and mutual interest.Potential consideration for a longer-term engineering role as Bridge IR grows. The missionHelp us build the infrastructure founders need to turn investor relationships into an intelligent, measurable asset. If you’re excited about AI, startups, entrepreneurship, product development, and building something from the ground up, we’d love to hear from you. Apply with your resume, GitHub/portfolio, and a brief note about something you’ve built that you’re proud of.
