Description

We are looking for a skilled Ignition Perspective Developer with a strong foundation in industrial controls to join our team. This role focuses on developing, deploying, and supporting web-based SCADA/MES applications for manufacturing environments. Please do not apply if you do not have proven Ignition Perspective experience. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop Ignition Perspective applications for real-time monitoring and controlIntegrate PLCs, historians, and third-party systems into unified dashboardsConfigure data models, tags, alarms, and reporting tools within IgnitionCollaborate with controls engineers and operations teams to translate requirements into functional solutionsTroubleshoot system performance, connectivity, and visualization issues Requirements: Proven experience with Ignition (Perspective module preferred)Background in industrial automation and controls (PLC programming, HMI/SCADA systems)Familiarity with common PLC platforms (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.)Experience with SQL databases and scripting (Python/Jython)Understanding of industrial communication protocols (OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT) Nice to Have: Experience in manufacturing or process industriesKnowledge of MES/OEE systemsExposure to cloud integrations and IIoT architectures
