Senior .NET Developer 📍 Location: Canberra, ACT – Onsite 5 days per week ⏳ Contract Duration: 12 months + potential extensions 💼 Industry: Federal Government ICT Projects 🔒 Security Requirement: Existing active NV1 Security Clearance or higher 🚀 Multiple Opportunities Available About the Opportunity Hatchit Studios is seeking experienced Senior Full Stack .NET Developers to support a major federal government client delivering and enhancing critical ICT systems. The successful candidates will work across the sustainment, enhancement and delivery of enterprise applications and priority ICT initiatives. These roles require strong expertise across Microsoft .NET, Vue.js, modern cloud platforms and full-stack application development, working within an agile delivery environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop and enhance full-stack applications using .NET and Vue.jsDeliver solutions across both on-premises and cloud environmentsDevelop modern web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and reactive frameworksApply secure development practices aligned with Cyber Security ISM, least privilege principles and OWASPEstablish and manage software repositories and CI/CD pipelinesWork extensively with Azure DevOps, including development processes and task governanceContribute to solution and systems design across complex enterprise applicationsManage multiple high-priority development activities in a dynamic delivery environmentCollaborate effectively within agile and multidisciplinary teamsCommunicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders Skills & Experience Required 5+ years of Microsoft .NET development experience, with strong full-stack capabilityDemonstrated experience designing and developing Vue.js/.NET applicationsStrong hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, particularly Vue.jsExperience delivering applications across on-premises and cloud environmentsStrong understanding of application security, including Cyber Security ISM, least privilege and OWASPExperience establishing and managing CI/CD pipelines and software repositoriesStrong understanding of Azure DevOps processes and task governanceStrong critical thinking, problem-solving and solution design capabilityExperience working effectively within agile delivery teamsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsPrevious Australian Government / APS ICT delivery experience is highly regardedRelevant Microsoft, development or cloud certifications are advantageous Additional Requirements Must hold an existing active NV1 Security Clearance or higherMust be available to work onsite in Canberra 5 days per weekMust be available to participate in a shared after-hours on-call roster, which may include weekends and public holidaysCandidates must be comfortable with an annual federal government December/January contractor stand-down period Why Consider This Opportunity?
