Senior SmartIQ / .NET Developers 📍 Location: Canberra, ACT – Onsite 5 days per week ⏳ Contract Duration: 12 months + up to 2 x 12-month extensions 💼 Industry: Federal Government ICT 🔒 Security Requirement: Active NV1 Security Clearance required 📅 Expected Start: November 2026 ⏱️ Hours: Up to 40 hours per week About the Opportunity Hatchit Studios is seeking experienced Senior SmartIQ / .NET Developers to support a major Federal Government environment responsible for critical digital services. The successful candidates will work across multiple enterprise applications, contributing to ongoing sustainment, enhancements and priority ICT initiatives. The roles require strong expertise across SmartIQ, .NET and modern Microsoft technologies, together with full-stack development and enterprise integration experience. We are seeking proactive senior developers who are comfortable managing multiple high-priority work items and delivering within dynamic Agile environments. Key Responsibilities Develop, enhance and maintain enterprise applications using SmartIQ, .NET and related Microsoft technologiesDevelop SmartIQ customisations and integrations with external systems and productsDesign and build robust enterprise-level integration solutionsDesign and develop data models aligned with business and technical requirementsConfigure and enhance SmartIQ forms, custom objects, flows, permissions, sharing and related settingsDevelop and support full-stack application solutions, including Vue.jsTroubleshoot and resolve application development and configuration issuesTrack and progress development activities using Agile, Scrum and/or Kanban delivery practicesProvide technical assistance and end-user troubleshooting where requiredContribute to continuous improvement, application sustainment and strategic enhancement initiativesParticipate in shared after-hours on-call support, including weekends and public holidays Skills & Experience Required 5+ years' experience in SmartIQ and .NET developmentAdvanced hands-on experience developing SmartIQ customisations and integrationsStrong experience designing and building enterprise integration solutionsDemonstrated ability to design and build data models from business requirementsStrong .NET and Microsoft technology experienceFull-stack development experience, ideally including Vue.jsExperience configuring SmartIQ forms, workflows, custom objects and associated platform settingsStrong development and configuration troubleshooting capabilityDemonstrated experience working within Agile, Scrum and/or Kanban environmentsStrong analytical, problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to work effectively across multiple concurrent prioritiesPrevious experience within Federal Government or other sensitive government environments is highly regardedSmartIQ, Microsoft and/or relevant cloud certifications are advantageous Additional Requirements Candidates must hold an existing active NV1 Security Clearance or higherMust be available to work onsite in Canberra 5 days per weekMust be available to participate in a shared after-hours on-call roster, including weekends and public holidaysCandidates should be available to commence from approximately November 2026 Why Consider This Opportunity?
