About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Front-End Developer who can bridge the gap between complex user flows and high-performance micro-frontend architectures. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone who takes initiative, thrives in dynamic environments, and is eager to own the entire front-end lifecycle—from initial prototypes to final deployment. You will work closely with stakeholders, designers, and backend teams to develop scalable, reusable UI components and ensure seamless user experiences across multiple devices and platforms. Your expertise will be instrumental in building and maintaining a modular, high-performance micro-frontend ecosystem that supports rapid deployment cycles and maintains visual consistency across diverse applications. Qualifications Expert-level proficiency in React.js, including JSX, hooks, Virtual DOM, and component lifecycle management.Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox, Grid), and modern JavaScript (ES6+).Experience with micro-frontend architectures, particularly using single-spa or similar frameworks.Solid understanding of UI/UX design principles, typography, and color theory.Proficiency in state management libraries such as Redux or Context API.Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.Ability to implement robust communication patterns between micro-frontends for a cohesive user experience.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines enabling independent deployment of features.Experience in developing and maintaining shared design systems and style guides.Knowledge of performance optimization techniques like lazy loading, import maps, and dependency management.Bonus: Backend experience with Node.js, RESTful or GraphQL APIs, and AWS cloud services.Bonus: Familiarity with serverless architectures, AWS Lambda, S3, CloudFront, and DevOps practices.Must possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.Self-motivated and able to work independently within a collaborative team environment.Eligibility to obtain a US Government Public Trust clearance; active or recent ICE or CBP clearance preferred.Must be a US citizen. Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders to design and prototype user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity interactive prototypes using tools like Figma or directly within React.Develop and maintain reusable, scalable UI components and front-end libraries that adhere to the global design system.Implement responsive, accessible interfaces optimized for mobile, tablet, and desktop devices.Manage complex state and data flows effectively using Redux, Context API, or similar libraries.Monitor and improve front-end performance, debug issues, and ensure high-quality code through comprehensive unit and integration testing with tools like Jest and React Testing Library.Design and implement micro-frontend services, ensuring seamless communication and integration across multiple applications.Lead efforts to develop shared design standards and visual consistency across all decoupled micro-frontends.Optimize application performance through techniques such as lazy loading, dependency management, and version control strategies.Manage independent CI/CD pipelines to facilitate the deployment of individual features without affecting the entire platform.Collaborate closely with backend teams to integrate APIs and ensure data consistency across systems.Stay updated with the latest front-end technologies and industry best practices to continually enhance application quality and performance.
