About The Role Captivation Software LLC is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Front-End Developer (Mid/Senior level) to join our dynamic team in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. This role is pivotal in supporting the sustainment and enhancement of our Reporting Tool Suite, a high-performance geospatial collaboration platform used for formal and informal intelligence product management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the user interface of this critical tool, ensuring it meets rigorous security standards, accessibility requirements, and performance benchmarks. The role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to national security initiatives by creating intuitive, accessible, and robust front-end solutions that facilitate intelligence analysis and dissemination. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, with at least three (3) years of professional experience in software development or engineering. Candidates with a master's degree can substitute two (2) years of experience. A current Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable polygraph is mandatory, and applicants must be U.S. citizens. Demonstrated expertise in Java 8+ is essential, along with a solid understanding of interface maintenance, troubleshooting, and integration between multiple applications. Experience with GWT, PrimeFaces, Quarkus, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is required. Familiarity with accessibility standards such as Section 508 and WAI-ARIA, Oracle, and AWS cloud services will be advantageous. The candidate should also have experience working within Agile development environments utilizing JIRA and Confluence tools. Responsibilities The Front-End Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the user interface components of the Reporting Tool Suite. Key responsibilities include enhancing existing interfaces to comply with Section 508 accessibility standards, redeveloping front-end components using modern frameworks, and ensuring seamless integration with backend systems.
