As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, building and evolving Irwin Mitchell's digital experience platforms.
Working across the full technology stack, you'll create scalable, secure and high-performing digital solutions using Sitecore XM Cloud, Next.js, React and Vercel.
This is more than a traditional CMS development role.
You'll contribute to architecture, platform engineering, DevOps practices and continuous improvement initiatives whilst helping to drive our composable digital experience strategy.
Working closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, Architects, Marketing colleagues and fellow Engineers, you'll help deliver exceptional customer experiences that support the firm's growth ambitions.
What you’ll be doing:
Design, develop and support modern digital experiences using Sitecore XM Cloud, Next.js, React and Vercel.Deliver scalable, secure and high-performing web solutions within a headless and composable architecture.Lead the technical implementation of new features, platform enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.Contribute to architecture, engineering standards, DevOps processes and CI/CD automation across the digital platform.Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, Architects and Engineering teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.Champion engineering best practice through code reviews, performance optimisation, accessibility and security standards.Explore and adopt emerging technologies, helping to drive innovation across Irwin Mitchell's digital estate.
To be successful in this role, you'll have experience delivering modern, customer-facing digital solutions using Sitecore and contemporary web technologies.
You'll be comfortable working across the full development lifecycle, from solution design and implementation through to optimisation and continuous improvement.
Essential Experience And Skills
Experience delivering enterprise web platforms using Sitecore XM Cloud and/or Sitecore 10.Strong development experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript and JavaScript.A solid understanding of headless and composable architectures.Experience optimising website performance, accessibility and user experience.Knowledge of cloud platforms, DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.Experience working with .NET, REST APIs and GraphQL.Strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.A passion for innovation and continuous improvement.25 days holidays as standard plus bank holidays - You can ‘buy’ up to 35hrs of extra holiday too.Generous and flexible pension schemes.Volunteering days – Two days of volunteering every year for a cause of your choice (fully paid)Westfield Health membership, offering refunds on medical services alongside our Aviva Digital GP services.
