The DDS Engineering team maintains the shared user interface foundations behind Tesco's digital ecosystem, supporting experiences used by millions of customers and colleagues every day.
This is a senior platform engineering role focused on reusable UI foundations: component APIs, accessibility, quality, documentation, release discipline, and developer experience for teams across Tesco’s digital estate.
Prior design system experience is valuable, but not required; we’re most interested in strong platform engineers who enjoy building shared foundations used by many teams.
You’ll work closely with design, accessibility, product engineering, and DDS peers to keep Tesco experiences consistent, scalable, and easy to build.
