Senior Java Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a major client in the banking industry, working on modern and scalable enterprise applications. Technical Skills Required: Java & Spring Boot 5+ years of production Java development and strong knowledge of Java 17+.Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring AOP and Spring Batch.Experience with Spring Data JPA/JDBC and REST APIs. Security Hands-on experience with OAuth 2.1, OIDC, JWT/JWKS.Knowledge of RBAC and ABAC authorization models.Experience implementing secure authentication and authorization mechanisms. Messaging & Caching Experience with Apache Kafka / Spring Kafka.Hands-on experience with Redis/Lettuce, including caching strategies and cache invalidation. Databases Strong experience with PostgreSQL.Experience with Flyway or Liquibase. Containers & Kubernetes Experience deploying Spring Boot services on Kubernetes.Knowledge of readiness/liveness probes, HPA, ConfigMaps and Secrets. Testing Strong experience with JUnit 5, Mockito, Spring Boot Test and Testcontainers.Experience designing unit and integration tests. Software Architecture Understanding of Domain-Driven Design principles.Experience with cross-cutting concerns such as authorization, auditing and data masking. Nice to Have: Experience with Open Policy Agent (OPA) or Drools BRMS.Familiarity with HashiCorp Vault, Istio/service mesh and mTLS.Experience with ArchUnit, BIAN or API Gateway policy enforcement.Entra ID / Azure AD OIDC integration experience.Knowledge of GDPR, DORA or PSD2 in a technical context.Experience with core banking or financial services platforms.
