# Back End Developer Intern 2027 - Dallas
## About the Role
IBM is seeking a Back End Developer Intern for its 2027 internship program in Dallas, Texas.
In this role, you will work with client-server architectures, networking protocols, application development, and databases while gaining experience designing and developing scalable backend systems.
The role provides opportunities to work with cloud computing, APIs, server applications, databases, and Agile and Cloud DevOps methodologies.
Successful candidates will have a foundational understanding of software development and basic knowledge of at least one relevant programming language or technology area.
## Key Responsibilities
* Work with client-server architectures, networking protocols, application development, and databases.

## Compensation & Benefits
