About us X Decentrum is an operator led technology company building and scaling digital products across iGaming, Web3 and emerging technology. We build and operate consumer and B2B products such as competition and engagement platforms, account and reward systems, payment and wallet connected experiences, real time user journeys, content and growth platforms and software that supports digital operations. In iGaming and Web3, product quality depends on more than feature delivery. Teams need to think about security, identity and access, transaction integrity, auditability, resilient integrations, high availability, data protection, fraud and abuse risk and market specific requirements. Depending on the product, this can also include payments, digital wallets, blockchain integrations, age or identity controls and responsible gaming considerations. We are an early stage company with our core team in Bucharest, currently building out our product, engineering and quality organisation. About the role We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to take ownership of the architecture and delivery of sophisticated Angular applications across X Decentrum products. The work includes consumer facing and operational products in iGaming and Web3, with demanding journeys around onboarding, accounts, competitions, rewards, payments, wallet connections, permissions and live product states. This is a hands on senior engineering role. You will build features yourself, make architectural decisions, raise frontend standards and mentor. What we want from you Own the architecture and implementation of complex Angular features and shared components.Deliver responsive, accessible product journeys with complete loading, empty, validation, permission, offline and failure states.Establish practical standards for API integration, frontend security, state management, testing, performance, code review and production debugging.Mentor the junior frontend developer and collaborate closely with product, backend and QA.Improve frontend CI/CD, Docker builds, environment configuration, release checks, monitoring and rollback readiness.Investigate production issues and make pragmatic technical decisions that keep delivery moving without compromising maintainability. Job requirements (or what we are really looking for) 5+ years building production web products, with strong recent ownership of Angular applications.Advanced Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, Signals, routing, reactive forms and maintainable state management patterns.Strong HTML, SCSS, responsive design, accessibility and WCAG 2.2 AA.Good REST and OpenAPI integration knowledge, strong browser performance awareness and good judgment around secure account, payment and wallet flows.Experience with Jest and Playwright, Cypress or comparable testing tools.Practical experience with Git based delivery, Docker, CI/CD, cloud environments, logs, metrics and safe production releases.Ability to explain technical trade offs clearly and make decisions without creating unnecessary process Useful experience Experience with iGaming, Web3, gaming, fintech or other transactional consumer products is useful, particularly products involving payments, wallet connections, competitions, rewards, real time updates, complex permissions, Storybook, design systems or Azure hosted Angular applications. AI assisted engineering We use tools such as Claude Code and OpenAI Codex as part of the engineering workflow. Experience with one strong AI assisted coding workflow is enough. What matters is your ability to review, test, correct and explain the code you ship. Why now and why us? We are still in building phase.
