About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality, scalable software solutions.Lead the architecture and implementation of complex features across distributed systems and services.Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and conduct thorough code reviews.Partner with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.Drive operational excellence: improve performance, reliability, latency, and monitoring of existing systems.Mentor and guide junior engineers, and contribute to engineering best practices.Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design and estimation to launch and support.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues with urgency and rigor.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of professional software engineering experience.Strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++, C#, or similar).Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and system design.Experience building and operating distributed systems or large-scale services.Experience with REST APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of delivering production-quality software.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of software engineering experience, including leading projects end-to-end.Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, etc.) and serverless architectures.Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code.Experience in a fast-paced, high-scale environment.Track record of mentoring engineers and driving engineering excellence.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
