Project Description: Project is related to regulatory reporting for one of Clients from Investment Banking area using OpenEdge (Progress 4GL) technology. There is an exclusive team developing & supporting approx. 25 systems in Securities area using Progress OpenEdge solution. Current OpenEdge team is located in Wrocław. Responsibilities: We aim to hire the best people and give them maximum autonomy for realizing their potential and growing technically/professionally. Competence, collaboration and continuous improvement are highly supported on program level, to create a culture where each individual can grow in their desired direction. Mandatory Skills Description: Overall, 5+ years of professional experience. • Proven experience as a Progress 4GL OpenEdge Developer. • Comprehensive skills in Bash scripting for automation and system management. • Ability to perform system administration tasks related to the Progress 4GL OpenEdge environment • Familiarity with system monitoring, troubleshooting, IT networking and performance analysis. • Experience with Red Hat Linux operating systems. • Familiarity with shell commands, file manipulation, and process control. • Familiarity with GitLab / another version control and collaboration and automated deployment tools. • Understanding of system security and access controls. Nice-to-Have Skills Description: • Experience managing and administering Progress 4GL OpenEdge databases. • Proficiency in database design, optimization, and performance tuning. Languages: English: C1
