Job Summary Clinisol Tech Inc. is looking for a hands-on AWS Platform Engineer to build and support the cloud infrastructure and internal tooling that client engineering teams run on. You'll own the automation, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code that make application delivery faster, safer, and self-service for the teams around you. The ideal candidate will have practical experience building and maintaining AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, containerized applications, and automated deployment processes. You will work closely with development, cloud, security, and operations teams to improve application delivery, reliability, scalability, and security. This is a hands-on engineering role suited for someone who enjoys automation, troubleshooting, cloud infrastructure, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities AWS Cloud & Infrastructure ● Design, deploy, configure, and maintain AWS infrastructure across development, QA, staging, and production environments. ● Work with AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, Route 53, CloudWatch, ELB/ALB, ECR, ECS and/or EKS. ● Support highly available, scalable, and secure cloud environments. ● Assist with cloud migrations and modernization of existing infrastructure. Infrastructure as Code & Automation ● Develop and maintain reusable infrastructure using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation. ● Create Terraform modules and follow Infrastructure as Code best practices. ● Automate repetitive infrastructure and operational tasks using Python, Bash, or Shell scripting. ● Manage configuration and environment-specific deployments through version-controlled code. CI/CD & Release Automation ● Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for application build, testing, security scanning, and deployment. ● Work with one or more CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild, or similar tools. ● Implement automated deployment strategies across multiple environments. ● Troubleshoot failed builds, deployments, and release issues. ● Support rollback and release-management processes. Containers & Kubernetes ● Build and manage containerized applications using Docker. ● Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes, preferably AWS EKS, and/or Amazon ECS. ● Work with Kubernetes resources, deployments, services, ingress, namespaces, ConfigMaps, and Secrets. ● Use Helm or similar tools for application deployment and configuration. ● Exposure to GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux is a plus. Monitoring, Observability & Reliability ● Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance tracking for cloud and application environments. ● Work with tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK/Elastic, or similar platforms. ● Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, deployment, networking, and performance issues. ● Participate in production support, incident response, root-cause analysis, and preventive-action activities. Security & Cost Optimization ● Implement AWS security best practices involving IAM, least-privilege access, security groups, network segmentation, encryption, secrets management, and secure deployments. ● Integrate security and vulnerability scanning into CI/CD pipelines where applicable. ● Monitor AWS resource utilization and identify opportunities for cost and performance optimization. ● Follow organizational security, compliance, and cloud governance standards. Collaboration ● Work closely with developers, QA, architects, security teams, and operations teams. ● Participate in code reviews, infrastructure reviews, deployment planning, and technical discussions. ● Document infrastructure, deployment procedures, troubleshooting steps, and operational processes. Qualifications ● 3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or SRE roles. ● Strong hands-on experience with AWS. ● Experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code. ● Hands-on experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines. ● Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS and/or ECS. ● Strong Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting skills. ● Strong scripting/automation experience using Python, Bash, or Shell. ● Good understanding of Git/GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket and source-code management. ● Strong understanding of AWS networking, including VPCs, subnets, security groups, load balancers, routing, and DNS. ● Understanding of AWS IAM and cloud security fundamentals. ● Experience troubleshooting production infrastructure and deployment issues. ● Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
