What you will do Own day-to-day leadership of the DevOps / System Engineering team, ensuring predictable delivery and operational stability.Plan, prioritize, and coordinate team workload in alignment with architects, product owners, and stakeholders.Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of cloud and on-prem infrastructure.Oversee infrastructure changes implemented via Terraform, Kubernetes, and automation tools, ensuring quality and consistency.Guide and review CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure designs, and operational practices without micromanaging implementation.Act as the first escalation point for delivery, operational, and environment-related issues.Balance delivery speed with compliance, security, and regulatory constraints.Support incident management, root-cause analysis, and post-incident improvements.Mentor team members, support onboarding, and help engineers grow technically and professionally.Drive continuous improvement of DevOps processes, tooling, and collaboration patterns.Communicate risks, dependencies, and progress clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Coordinate with other teams to ensure smooth integration, handovers, and shared responsibility models.Maintain documentation standards where needed, while avoiding unnecessary bureaucracy.Ensure accurate time tracking, reporting, and alignment with agreed delivery expectations.
