We are looking for a Cloud Operations Engineer (Mid / Senior) to join our Cloud Operations team and help build the operational foundation that supports our growing global platform.
In this role, you will work closely with the Cloud Operations Manager, Engineering teams, Security teams, and external partners to ensure our AWS and Azure environments remain secure, reliable, scalable, and well-governed.
This is a hands-on role focused on cloud operations, administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, automation, and continuous improvement of our cloud platforms.
You will play a key role in building Aduna's internal Cloud Operations capability as we continue to expand.
What you will be focused on
Supporting day-to-day operations of AWS and Azure environments.Managing cloud resources, subscriptions, accounts, and access controls.Monitoring platform health, availability, performance, and security.Responding to incidents, troubleshooting issues, and supporting root cause analysis.Managing backups, disaster recovery readiness, patching, and operational maintenance.Supporting cloud governance, security, and compliance requirements.Working closely with Engineering teams to improve reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.Contributing to automation initiatives and operational process improvements.Creating and maintaining operational documentation, standards, and runbooks.Supporting cloud cost optimization and FinOps initiatives.What You Bring
Experience
Mid-Level
3+ years of experience in Cloud Operations, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Operations, or Systems Administration.Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure.Experience supporting production systems and business-critical services.Experience troubleshooting cloud infrastructure, networking, and platform issues.Senior-Level
5+ years of experience in cloud operations or cloud engineering.Experience supporting large-scale cloud environments and production workloads.Experience driving operational improvements and automation initiatives.Experience mentoring junior engineers and helping build operational best practices.Technical Skills
Good working knowledge of AWS and/or Azure services.Experience with IAM, RBAC, cloud networking, security groups, and governance controls.Understanding of monitoring, alerting, logging, backup, and disaster recovery concepts.Experience supporting Linux and/or Windows-based workloads.Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform is an advantage.Exposure to Kubernetes, EKS, AKS, or container-based platforms is beneficial.Basic scripting capabilities using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.Problem Solving & Ownership
