DataOps / DevOps Engineer

Transform Digital Our team is embedded in the Marketing & Sales Analytics Center of Excellence at Hilti. We are looking for a Dataops/Devops for Hilti Marketing Data Platform. The platform enables Strategic Marketing teams to make more data-driven decisions while supporting regional markets in their daily operations. This requires having a strong experience of Dataops on an AWS data platform You will work daily with architect, data engineer, data scientist and data analyst to support them while build state of the art marketing data platform What You'll Do 1. Data Infrastructure Deployment & Operations Automate and manage cloud-based data platforms (AWS: Athena, Glue, S3, Redshift, etc.). Use Terraform for infrastructure as code to ensure scalable and reliable deployments. 2. AI platforms Automate and manage AI cloud-based data platforms (AWS Bedrocks, AgentCore, Sagemaker Studio, etc.). Experience in ML Ops and Agents Ops 3. Continuous Integration & Tooling Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD. Support data engineers and scientists by enhancing their development workflows. Monitoring & Troubleshooting Implement monitoring (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog) to track system health and performance. Proactively resolve infrastructure and application issues to minimize downtime. Process Improvement & Documentation Recommend operational improvements for scalability and efficiency. Maintain clear documentation (e.g., diagrams, workflows) and share best practices. Collaboration & Security Partner with IT Security to ensure compliance and ISO27001 audit readiness. Enforce strong cloud security practices to protect critical systems. What You’ll Bring Engineer degree in Computer Science or a related field with at least 5 years of hands-on DevOps/DataOps experience. AWS certification Advanced knowledge of AWS services, including S3, Athena, Redshift, Aurora DB, Lambda, ECS, Glue and IAM . Experience with Analytics, AI or ML platform services such as AWS Bedrock / Sagemaker / AgentCore or similar Understanding MLOps and AgentOps operational practices Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC). Experience with GitLab CI/CD for building and managing CI/CD pipelines. Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and understanding of Kubernetes/EKS concepts. Understanding on Infrastructure Security & Networking for multi cloud environment. Fluency in English Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Would Be a Plus Expertise in monitoring tools (e.g., Cloudwatch, Datadog  or Grafana) for system health and performance tracking.
