Your Role As a Rust Developer at arculus, you will design, develop, and maintain Rust-based software products with a focus on feature-driven functionality, robustness, and scalability. You will work closely with Product Owners, Designers, System Architects, and cross-functional teams to implement features that directly enhance the end-user experience while contributing to system reliability, observability, and maintainability. Your tasks will include: Implement new product features in Rust based on specifications and user requirements, ensuring modular and high-quality codeBuild fault-tolerant, concurrent systems and optimize performance, memory usage, and response timeImplement monitoring and logging to ensure production reliabilityWrite unit, integration, and system tests and participate in code reviews and CI/CD pipelinesDebug and resolve issues efficiently in development and production environmentsCollaborate with Product Owners, System Architects, and cross-functional teamsDocument features, APIs, and usage patterns clearly and provide guidance on Rust best practicesSupport CI/CD integration, containerization, and observability implementationAssist in prototyping new algorithms or ML inference pipelines Your Experience MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience5+ years of experience in software engineering and product developmentProven experience programming in Rust or C++ with a focus on efficient, robust, and maintainable codeExpert knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and software problem-solvingFamiliarity with microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized environmentsExperience implementing optimization algorithms, graph algorithms, or ML inference in production systemsExperience with performance profiling, benchmarking, and observability toolsExperience working in data-driven environments with simulation and short time-to-market cyclesExperience in logistics, robotics, warehouse management, or material flow systems is a plus Who You Are Strong communicator who applies effective feedback practices with empathyDemonstrates ownership, accountability, and self-organizationPractices self-reflection and continuous learning to achieve goalsMaintains clarity in roles, responsibilities, and decision-makingActs with transparency, proactively sharing results and proposing improvementsThinks conceptually and structurally when solving problems WHY ARCULUS We are a diverse, global team of 100+ creative thinkers, algorithmic brains, makers, movers, and shakers.Our approach comes from a continuous cycle: assemble, weld, code, test, deploy or delete, and repeat.
