We're looking for a Software Engineer who thinks beyond their code: someone who takes ownership, challenges assumptions, and actively looks for better ways to build and scale systems.
This role is ideal for an engineer with solid experience, but more importantly, someone who demonstrates a senior mindset: proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable working across teams to deliver complex features end-to-end.
We do value engineers who naturally contribute beyond their own scope, whether by sharing knowledge, supporting technical discussions, improving team practices, or helping others make well-considered engineering decisions.
We also value AI literacy and a curious, responsible approach to using modern AI tools to improve productivity, code quality, problem-solving, and collaboration.
In this role, you'll join a feature team building AI-powered capabilities into Transpara.
You will design, build, and maintain production-grade features that put our AI/ML models to work in the product, translating model output into functionality radiologists can trust and rely on in their workflow.
You'll take ownership of features throughout their entire lifecycle — from idea and design to implementation, deployment, and monitoring — working closely with data science and ML engineering to understand model behavior and turn it into well-designed, well-tested product experiences.
You'll also play an important role in ensuring high standards for testing, code quality, and maintainability, while collaborating closely with product, data, and other engineering teams.
Job requirements
You are a self-motivated individual with a high level of enthusiasm and initiative.
You are well organized, efficient and able to work independently.
Moreover, you have:
~3–6 years of software engineering experienceProven experience working on complex, user-facing features or product-focused systemsExperience integrating with or building features on top of ML/AI models or servicesComfortable working closely with data science or ML engineering teams to translate model behavior into product functionalityStrong understanding of testing strategies and code quality practicesAI literacy and experience using AI tools to support software development, automation, testing, documentation, or engineering workflows
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with product experimentation or evaluating feature/model performance (e.g., A/B testing, metrics)Experience mentoring colleaguesFamiliarity with cloud environments and CI/CD pipelinesBackground in medical, clinical, or other regulated product domains
What matters most to us is mindset.
We're looking for someone who is proactive and doesn't wait for problems to appear, but anticipates and solves them.
You take ownership beyond your immediate tasks, focusing on solutions rather than obstacles.
You're curious and creative, willing to challenge the status quo and think outside the box.
You're comfortable collaborating across teams and domains, and you genuinely care about continuously improving systems, processes, and the way teams work together.
This role goes beyond simply executing tickets.
You'll be expected to influence how things are built, identify gaps and opportunities, and help shape both systems and processes in a meaningful way.
