Standard Job Description The successful candidate will contribute to the River Class Destroyer (RCD) Land Based Test Facility (LBTF) project as a member of the Software team conducting the following activities: Support the Test and Analysis Environment (TAE) and other related systems at the LBTFAct as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for relevant system design areasSupport software development with build and support toolsDesign next generation of system architecture for Government of Canada (CANADA)Develop new systems for development operations and securityReports to the program team leadWorking in an Agile team environment. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or diploma from an accredited university or college in a related discipline or realworld experience2+ years of relevant work experienceHave an aptitude for solving Information Technology (IT) problemsWilling and able to support schedule including evenings and weekends, as requiredWilling to learn new skills as required by positionHave an aptitude for solving challenging problems in a team environmentEligible for North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secret clearance in a timely manner.Have a security-first mindsetHave a high degree of initiative and autonomyHave an understanding of Linux based Operating System (OS) configurationHave an understanding of Windows System administration and automated deploymentAble to work 100% onsite.
