Description

Network Administrator & DevOps Engineer | Doha, Qatar 🔹 Key Responsibilities Monitor network performance, availability, and security, and respond to alerts and incidents.Troubleshoot connectivity, packet loss, latency, bandwidth, routing, and switching issues.Perform network configuration, maintenance, upgrades, and security hardening.Manage and troubleshoot Cisco, Palo Alto, FortiGate, or similar networking platforms.Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and other network security solutions.Collaborate with development and operations teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.Manage on-premises and cloud infrastructure with a focus on availability, reliability, scalability, and security.Administer and scale Kubernetes resources, including pods, services, deployments, and persistent volumes.Implement Kubernetes monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting.Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar tools.Automate configuration management using tools such as Puppet, Chef, or SaltStack.Work with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Support disaster recovery procedures and participate in an on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 service availability.Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and operational best practices. 🔹 Requirements 7–8+ years of relevant experience in Network Engineering, DevOps, NOC, or a similar role.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching.Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds, or PRTG.Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Git, and Terraform.Experience with database technologies such as MS-SQL, MySQL, and/or MongoDB.Strong understanding of SDLC and DevOps practices.Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of network security principles and best practices.CKA and/or Linux certifications are preferred.CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or CompTIA Network+ certifications are an advantage.Fluent English is required; Arabic language skills are an added advantage.Strong communication, teamwork, and customer-service skills.
