We're looking for a curious and innovative Software Engineer to join our engineering team and help build the systems, services and experiences that power customer engagement at scale.
This is an exciting opportunity for a full stack engineer with experience in React, Node.js, GraphQL and modern database technologies who enjoys working across front-end experiences, backend systems and data flows to deliver high-quality products that create measurable business value.

Requirements
We're looking for someone who has:
Commercial experience developing software within modern engineering environmentsStrong experience building full stack applications using React and Node.jsHands-on experience developing and maintaining modern web applications using JavaScript/TypeScriptExperience designing, building and consuming APIs, including GraphQLExperience working with at least one relational database technology, including: MySQLPostgreSQLMicrosoft SQL ServerExperience developing, integrating and maintaining backend services, APIs and data-driven applicationsKnowledge of software architecture, design patterns and engineering best practicesExperience working with source control, automated testing and CI/CD approachesAn understanding of secure coding, software quality and operational reliabilityExperience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues within complex systemsA collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teamsExperience contributing to code reviews, shared codebases and engineering standardsA passion for continuous learning and developing technical expertise

Location & Ways of Working
This is a hybrid role that offers flexibility while ensuring opportunities for collaboration and connection with colleagues across the business.
The successful applicant will be expected to attend one of our offices (Dundee, Aberdeen, Glasgow or London) for team collaboration, planning sessions and key business activities up to two days per month.
Outside of these occasions, you'll have the flexibility to work remotely.
