About The Role If you are a Full Stack Developer with 1+ years of experience, we have an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team working on a cutting-edge platform. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing a new online customer journey platform designed to guide consumers seamlessly from their first visit through identity verification, e-signature, and submission processes. As a Junior Full-Stack JavaScript Developer, you will contribute to both the frontend and backend components, working with technologies such as React, Node.js, and Microsoft SQL Server. This position offers a unique chance to work on customer-facing features, enhance your technical skills, and gain valuable experience in a regulated consumer environment. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, detail-oriented, and passionate about building reliable, scalable software solutions. Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a solid foundation in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, demonstrated through professional experience, academic coursework, or personal projects. Practical knowledge of React, including components, props, state, hooks, and forms, is essential. An understanding of how web applications communicate via REST APIs and the integration of front-end and back-end code is required. Basic SQL skills, such as selecting, joining, inserting, and updating data, are necessary; experience with SQL Server is advantageous. Candidates should have a keen interest in automated testing and the willingness to develop skills in writing maintainable tests. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and clear communication skills are vital for success in this role. A proactive attitude towards learning and professional growth is highly valued. Responsibilities Develop and enhance customer-journey screens and reusable components in React, utilizing React Router, Vite, and Sass/SCSS across multiple branded sites.Contribute to the development of Node.js APIs and backend-for-frontend services, following established patterns in Fastify and Express frameworks.Create and maintain parameterized SQL queries, support database modifications through reviewed migration scripts, and ensure data integrity.Integrate third-party services such as identity verification and lead management providers, designing clear interfaces for seamless functionality.Write comprehensive unit, component, and end-to-end tests using tools like Vitest, Testing Library, and Playwright to ensure software quality.Investigate and resolve defects by analyzing logs and utilizing development tools, delivering well-tested fixes promptly.Follow secure development practices, including validation, data privacy, audit trails, and error handling to ensure compliance and security.Participate actively in code reviews, document technical work thoroughly, and communicate effectively with team members to clarify requirements and technical decisions.
